Are you able to come onsite or do you only work remote?

Both! We can come into the workplace for weekly HR office hours, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations issues, trainings, or other business needs as required. We can also assist you remotely so that you always have someone available to assist you with your HR needs.

How many employees do you have?

Our team currently consists of 5 HR Business Partners and  2 HR Coordinators and about 10 of our furry, four legged friends.

How does your billing work?

There is no commitment on hours, and we can be flexible to the needs of your business. We keep it simple and charge a flat hourly rate and bill in 15-minute increments rather than offering monthly plans. This way you are only paying for what you actually need. We will send out a monthly invoice with an itemized list of what you are being charged.

What type of trainings do you offer? Is it remote or in person?

We offer both in person and remote trainings. Our classes include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting Effective Performance Reviews

Can you help us update our handbook?

Absolutely! Handbooks are important because they outline not only your legal obligations as an employer but address employee rights and responsibilities. It is also your first line of defense when dealing with difficult employees. We can assist in creating a handbook that fits your company’s needs and ensure that its updated annually with Federal and State legal updates.

Can you assist us with our time and attendance and payroll process?

Yes! We have experience with many HRIS systems and can assist and be as hands on as you would like. Looking to transfer to a new HRIS system? We can assist with that too!

I hate firing people! Will you come do it for us?

We understand that terminating employees is hard and can help you have those hard conversations. We can come in and train your team on how to handle difficult employees and hard conversations, or we can come in and do it for you.

An employee claims they were harassed by their supervisor. Is this something you can handle, or do we need to call an attorney?

Even though, we are not attorneys, we can definitely help you here! We are a good first step to conduct an investigation.  We will come in as a neutral party to help determine if the allegations are sustained or not sustained. As the investigator, we will review all evidence, interview the alleged harasser, complainant, and any witnesses and provide you with a full summary outlining our findings.

Can you put together a return to work COVID-19 plan?

We are committed to helping companies provide a safe and healthy workplace for their employees. Our goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in our workplaces and communities. We will work with you on creating a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan that represents your Company’s plan to prevent and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic based on the California Department of Public Health’s and Cal OSHA’s COVID-19 Industry Guidance as well as guidance issued by the U.S. Center for Disease Control (“CDC”).
